The Game Changer
For many years performing-enhancing drugs have been a talked-about thing forever. And how people always have said it is cheating and its bad for the sports world. But in my belief, I say it's not cheating and it's not bad for professional sports. It's in my belief that performing-enhancing drugs should be allowed in professional sports. And how it would help the game. It also would help the athletes be able to play the game longer and recover faster. and be able to understand what performing-enhancing drugs do for the body.
Threw Throughout the year's people have been talking badly about performing-enhancing drugs. And how they say its cheating and its wrong and its bad for sports. But I say it's not and it's in my belief that performing-enhancing drugs. Are a great thing for professional athletes. And I believe that performing-enhancing drugs should be allowed in the sports world. And how it would help the pro athletes to recover faster and be able to play the game longer. And you may be asking how that would be possible well if we look at what performing-enhancing drugs do for the body, we will be able to understand that as you introduced performing-enhancing drugs into the body. It allows for your testosterone level to stay at a healthy level or go to a higher level it would be up to the doctor to make that decision for the pro athlete. In terms that would allow athletes to recover fast and play the game longer. Think about your favorite athlete and now think when he retires, you'll never see him play aging. But if he could take performing-enhancing drugs. And that allows them to play the game longer which in terms means that you can watch your favorite athlete longer and play the game they love longer.
How performing-enhancing drugs would allow athletes to recover fast and play longer. As I talk about before as you introduced performing-enhancing drugs into the body. You will see that it will keep your testosterone level at a healthy level. As a result, it would allow for the pro athlete to recover faster in terms they will be happier because their bodies would not be in so much pain form playing for weeks and weeks on end. In therefore the game would be more fun to watch because the athletes would be able to perform at a high-level day in and day out.
It's in my belief that it should be up to the athlete to decide if they want to do performing-enhancing drugs. Not up to the people are the leagues they play in. Because I believe that performing-enhancing drugs are not cheating, and they are not bad for the sports world. They are just a supplement that allows the athletes to recover faster. And the people that say performing-enhancing drugs are cheating. What they don’t realize is that doing performing-enhancing drugs doesn’t give you instant strength or makes you instantly better. It still takes hard work and hours of practice. Also, you just don’t put performing-enhancing drugs into your body and get better than everybody else. You still got to put in the work to get there. Let's say you took a regular person and dosed them with performing-enhancing drugs. It's not going to make them a professional athlete overnight. Also, performing-enhancing drugs don’t mean you're going to be the best or be a pro athlete. All performing-enhancing drugs do is allow you to recover fast and get strong. It still takes talent to get there. Performing enhancing drugs, they're not a magic pill that allows you to be a pro athlete you still must work at whatever your try to do just because people say performing-enhancing drugs are cheating or they say their wrong. I believe that they are just there to help the pro athletes recover and be able to play the game that they love longer.
Has you can see performing-enhancing drugs are not cheating or bad for the game like everybody say they are. They are a tool that should be used to help athletes recover and play the game they love longer. and it's in my belief that one-day performing-enhancing drugs will be allowed into professional sports. it's in my belief that people will stop looking at performing-enhancing drugs as cheating or bad thing and see them as a tool for the athletes. As you look at the information that I have given you will see that performing-enhancing drugs would be a great thing for pro athletes. It's in the belief that performing-enhancing drugs would change the sports world for the better.

I like where everything is going so far. I would check carefully for spelling mistakes and punctuation mistakes.Other than those two things I believe you are going in the right direction and I feel everything is set up right.
ReplyDeletejust fixing some of the spelling and punctuation is all i see that need to be looked over, other than that it is a great essay
ReplyDeleteHi Janzen,
ReplyDeleteThis was a good start to your essay and you did a good job of developing your argument. However, there are a few things that could be improved to make the argument stronger.
For starters, I would look over your paper for any grammatical errors. In your topic sentences be careful not to restate claims that you have already made. If you are restating them, you need to tell us more about them. For instance, how would performance enhancing drugs allow athletes to play longer and recover faster? Why is that important? I know these things may seem obvious to you, but your audience needs a full picture.
I would also recommend using sources to back up the claims in your argument. Using the previous example, I would find scientific research from a confirmed source that explains how performance enhancing drugs could benefit the athlete. This would help combat the popular counter argument that you mention, which is that people generally see these drugs as bad.
Overall, this was a good essay and you seem to be on the right track. Best of luck, feel free to e-mail me with any questions at thorton1@stallions.abac.edu!
